Staying at home doesn’t mean you can’t get beautiful maternity photos. Sometimes the simplest setups are the best. At the end of the day, these photos are all about the bump, which you don’t have to go anywhere to showcase.
When it was time to take my maternity pictures, I decided that I just wanted to shoot at my parent’s house. I really didn’t feel like going anywhere. Back then I had the option, but now with Covid 19 spreading, at home maternity shoots are the way to go. A photographer can keep their distance and get beautiful shots of your bump around your home. You can shoot in the nursery or really anywhere in the house with good lighting and then you can get some outside as well.

I loved my at home shoot so much that I decided to do it again for the newborn session once my baby girl was born. It’s more comfortable to shoot at home and there’s just something so special about those memories in your home. I’ll be sharing the newborn session real soon, so stay tuned!
